Why FEP Feels Like Home

Being a student at the Faculty of Economy and Management (FEP) at UKM is more than just a chapter in my academic life—it’s a journey of growth, discovery, and self-reflection. Looking back on my experiences so far, I feel immense gratitude for the opportunities, challenges, and memories that have shaped me as a person. When I first stepped into FEP, I was a mix of excitement and nervousness. The thought of navigating a prestigious faculty, meeting new people, and tackling unfamiliar subjects felt overwhelming at times. But as the days turned into weeks, I discovered that FEP is not just a place of academic rigor but also a community that supports and uplifts its students. One of the things I’ve learned as an FEP student is that challenges are not obstacles; they are stepping stones. Whether it’s managing deadlines, mastering complex concepts, or participating in class discussions, every challenge pushes me to step out of my comfort zone and strive for excellence. These exp...

3 Facilities in FEP

Among all the excellent resources FEP offers, three facilities stand out to me for their importance and impact: the library, the student lounge, and FEP Cafe. 1. FEP Library: A Haven for Knowledge Seekers The FEP library is my go-to spot for research, studying, or simply enjoying some quiet time. With its vast collection of books, journals, and online resources, it’s a treasure trove of information for students like me. The cozy study areas and computer facilities make it the perfect place to dive into assignments or prepare for exams. What I love most is the sense of focus and dedication shared by everyone there—it’s a motivating space that truly fosters learning. 2. Student Lounge: Where Connections Are Made The student lounge at FEP is more than just a facility; it’s a hub of energy and connection. This is where students gather to relax between classes, work on group assignments, or share ideas over a cup of coffee. The casual seating and welcoming atmosphere make it an ideal s...

UKM Hangouts

Studying at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) is not just about lectures and assignments—it’s also about discovering places that make my university journey unforgettable. Among all the corners of this vibrant campus, there are three places that hold a special place in my heart: the Faculty of Economy and Management, KPZ CafĂ©, and Blok 2 KKM. 1. Faculty of Economy and Management: Where Learning Comes Alive The Faculty of Economy and Management is more than just a building where I attend my classes; it’s a hub of inspiration. This is where I spend most of my days learning, discussing, and growing as a student. The faculty has this unique energy—students bustling to and from lectures, passionate lecturers sharing their knowledge, and the occasional quiet moments in between classes that allow me to reflect. It’s a space where my academic journey takes shape, and I feel proud to call it my second home at UKM. 2. KPZ CafĂ©: A Food Haven with Green Tea   KPZ CafĂ© is my ultimate g...

HOBBIES

Everyone has hobbies that bring them joy and relaxation, and for me, those two activities are watching movies and playing badminton. Both hobbies are very different, yet they bring balance and fun to my life. Let me start with my favorite pastime –  watching movies . There's nothing like immersing yourself in a captivating story, and one movie series that truly stole my heart is  Harry Potter . I’ve watched the entire series more times than I can count, and every time I do, it feels like I’m being transported to Hogwarts. The world of magic, the strong friendships, and the epic battles between good and evil never fail to amaze me. Harry Potter taught me about bravery, loyalty, and the importance of standing up for what’s right. It’s not just entertainment – it’s an experience that has inspired me in many ways. Movies are more than just entertainment for me—they’re a way to explore different worlds, meet fascinating characters, and experience incredible stories. I love ho...

About Me : Finding Joy in the Journey

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name is Intan Sareena binti Zulkifly, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself with you. I’m a 21-year-old student currently pursuing my studies at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Hailing from the peaceful town of Muadzam Shah in Pahang, I’ve always appreciated the simple joys of life surrounded by family, nature, and a supportive community. Growing up as the second child in a family of five siblings, I’ve learned the value of teamwork, compromise, and how to make family life an adventure. Being a middle child comes with its own set of perks and challenges, and it has shaped me into who I am today—someone who balances independence with togetherness. My father works as a manager in a palm oil plantation, a role that has instilled in me a deep respect for dedication and perseverance. Meanwhile, my mother, a loving housewife, has been the heart of our home, teaching us the importance of kindness, compassion, a...
